volume glitch I haven't had any trouble with burns from music I've acquired online but I guess I haven't tried importing a disc and then "burning" it. I'll give it a shot and get back to you. Thanks

I use a 4040 about 18" from the soundhole and angle it to kill some of the boominess and it sounds exquisite. I sometime mic the 12th fret with a Rode nt3 and the combination is killer. (I never hear much about the NT3...too bad)

I'm gonna ask a dumb question...I'm kinda interested in firewire recording systems but I don't believe my new 512/100gig HP laptop has such a connection? Does it? And if not....am I fucked Firewire-wize...or is there an easy solution? Thank You :confused:
