i got these drum loops that i like a lot but when i use them in cool edit they maxout the decible guage they dont distort or anything if i lower the volume to where it doesnt do it the drums will be to low and i have to lower the rest of the mix to get it right then i got a quiet mix any one...

i got an audio-technica Limited Edition st95 for about 20 bones, anybody got one ive only used it a couple of times and it seems fair for the price need some input on what all it would be good for i originally got it to mic an acoustic guitar.

i got a pc drummer demo that doesnt allow you to export to wave,so i tried this, i ran a double male 1/8" stereo jack cable and ran from the line out of my sound card to the line in, and recorded the drums in cool edit!!! it works perfectly, you only have to make sure you turn the wave volume...

it seems that a guitar pickup doesnt have enough juice to plug direct into a sound card with out a mixer or such huh? latency and what not? what would be good to use to fill the void cheaply?
