Yeah, moved stuff around quite a bit. Tried different amps in different rooms. Best room for guitars was still the main room where the drums were tracked... and you still cant beat that good old sm57 on a marshall... :)

Hi and thanks... :D The Piano is in the control room, the bass and guitar amps were in a seperate room. Same carpets so looks like the same room. :)

Yes, the tube should "appear" to be glowing red as soon as you turn it on. The reason I say "appear" is because I read somewhere that there is actually a red LED under the tube which makes it appear to glow. I have one of these units and loved it when I first got it, but I outgrew it quickly...

Hi Sadistikpro, Work from the mic backwards... 1. Check the input to the Mic Pre isn't over loading/clipping. 2. Check the output isn't either. 3. Check the EMU inputs are overloading. 4. etc... It sound like an input is overloaded and an output is turned down to compensate. I seriously doubt...
