I have the Tascam DP-08 and had saved my songs but there are 2 of them that have an Asterick next to them and when I go to play them in song files list there is nothing there but there had been before. Did I erase them many accident?

How can I get my iTunes to be recorded on to my Tascam DP-03SD? It works from my iPad but not my Desk top iMac. Where is the line out on the Mac? Should I use the Headphones input to a line out to my recorder? Or is any of this not possible? Thanks!
