Studio Monitors resonating(?) at lower frequencies

I've done some research and I actually noticed the HS5 are quite expensive for me... What you guys think of Presonus' studio monitors? The Presonus Eris E3.5 for example? Will it be a great upgrade? And about the acoustic treatment, I'll be working on it over the next weeks!

Studio Monitors resonating(?) at lower frequencies

I see. I bought those monitors after a friend recomended Edifier to me, but I think they're actually consumer-level monitors, is that it? I was thinking of maybe getting a pair of Yamaha HS5 monitors, what do you guys think? Would it make a big difference?

Studio Monitors resonating(?) at lower frequencies

I tried making a DIY isolation pad with some foam left from some acoustic pads but it didn't solve my problem :/

Studio Monitors resonating(?) at lower frequencies

My Edifier RT1600 TIII monitors seem to be resonating a lot at specific lower frequencies (for example, it happens when I play an A# on the 13th fret of my bass). First I thought it was only a room acoustic issue that could be fixed maybe with some bass traps at the corners, but when I took a...

Using Boss GT-100 pedal for audio monitoring

I was wondering if there's a way I could maybe use my GT-100 with my studio monitors mix music with high fidelity audio. I know I can record guitars and stuff with it, but I wanted to know if I can use it only to monitor audio when mixing songs.

    Studio Monitors and Audio Interfaces

These behringer interfaces used to be very cheap here, but the vallue of the dollar here is really high now and they got very expensive. And yes, I'll have to rooms, one for mixing and other for recording. I'll leave the tascam in the recording room because I use it to record acoustic drums and...

    Studio Monitors and Audio Interfaces

I read some articles on the internet saying that using an audio interface's output into studio monitors give us better results in terms of sound quality instead of just plugging directly in my computer phone jack, so I've been using my Tascam 16x8 phone output into my monitors for mixing and...

    Pro Tools Substitute

I used Reaper when I started mixing, and I didn't like very much. Maybe because I didn't understard anything about mixing lol, but I'll give it another try

    Pro Tools Substitute

You need to consider our purchasing power here, not only the numbers. 30 dolars a month is around 160 reais here. I know I need to spend money, but Pro Tools is way more expensive compared to other DAWs.

    Pro Tools Substitute

My intention is to stop using cracked software, that's why I'm asking for a more affordable option than pro tools

    Pro Tools Substitute

I've been using Pro Tools for recording and mixing purposes for over a year now, and got quite used to it. The program itself is very good in terms of workflow, the only thing I dislike about it is the outdated interface, but it's no big deal. The thing is, I use a cracked version of it; I...
