Leftover bits after reassembling Zoom R24

As they fell out when I was removing the top to access the LCD and never previously when just removing the bottom, I should assume that they came from between the PCB and the top panel. If there weren't so many damned screws, I wouldn't be so reluctant to dismantle it every time I had a fresh...

Leftover bits after reassembling Zoom R24

Yes, but there is nothing obvious missing. As I said, there are a lot of screws so they probably fit on a couple of them. Anyway, it works and I have had it eight years so it is well out of warranty. I have them taped in a gap inside so they don't get lost and I had the R24 apart to change the...

Leftover bits after reassembling Zoom R24

I have dismantled my R24 a few times, mainly to clean out the battery compartment when batteries have leaked. Usually it hasn't been difficult, although to remove the base you need to remove 27 screws - more than any other device I have taken apart. However, I had debris between the LCD screen...

Zoom R24 - using drum patterns

That can't be dome with patterns. When bouncing, the track indicator light of the source track has to be set to green but with pattern tracks, they are either orange or off.

Zoom R24 - using drum patterns

The thing is, I just wanted a simple but strong beat to record to and maybe let somebody with a bit of drum flair provide something at a later date but as I mentioned, bringing the project into Logic loses the drum pattern track so I then have to start messing about with Logic's drummers - which...

Zoom R24 - using drum patterns

That looks like what I want to do but I'm not sure that it works with patterns - I'm sure I tried this but I will give it another go.

Zoom R24 - using drum patterns

Yes, I had thought about something like that or even feeding it back into an empty track on the R24 itself but it ain't very elegant and I hoped that there might be a way to render patterns into files.

Zoom R24 - using drum patterns

I have been recording on my Zoom R24 and then exporting the projects to USB and then importing to Logic. When I do this, I discovered that the drum patterns I have used have been missing. I Understand that these are patterns which are generated within the R24 and aren't loops but has anybody any...

Zoom R24 Multitrack Playback and Recording problem

I've always copied everything (literally) as projects to a hard drive which gets automatically duplicated once a week. Anything worth keeping usually finds its way into Logic and saved and backed up twice - once on the weekly duplication and once via Time Machine. I haven't seen any bargains...

Zoom R24 Multitrack Playback and Recording problem

Thanks for the reply. I am a bit relieved that I hadn't messed something up along the way, I have had the R24 in bits a few times (to clean out the battery bay when batteries leaked, replace the battery contacts and clean the LCD screen) and I had crossed my mind that I might have inadvertently...

Zoom R24 Multitrack Playback and Recording problem

Thanks for the reply. No, all the tracks are on bank 1, i.e. 1-8 but I did look at the other banks to try to understand what is going on. To be clear, this is only a problem when something has already been recorded on a track and I want to play the project and practice a new take on the track...

Zoom R24 Multitrack Playback and Recording problem

This is my first post. I used to belong to the Zoom forum but they moved everything to Facebook and having closed my account there, I refuse to sign up - so I have only just found this forum. I've had my Zoom R24 for about nine years and I am pretty sure that I have been successfully done what...
