I have a drum midi track and I would like to play the midi file and record the audio coming out of the DR-670 on to an audio track.
I am able to do this in Cubase, but I only get sound from the first preset. I can't change drum kits. Anyone know how?
It seems that most companies don't make this number available for their products. Is there a utility to measure the input buffer size?
The reason I ask is that I have a Lexicon Omega that has a MIDI I/O and I'm getting buffer overrun errors from looping a V-Amp pro and Boss DR-670.
I donwloaded the Absynth demo. I love it. However, I'm tring to record it into Cubase LE or Audacity with no success. How should I have it set up so that it will record on either of these programs?
I'm using a Lexicon Omega on a Mac G4.
As stated in the title, what can I do with this hardware? This is really a dumb question, but is this only a controller for MIDI software? What I want is something I can program (say some piano arpeggios, or strings, or lay down a drum or bass track). Will this do any of that? If not, what...
Greetings!
Here is my setup:
Line 6 POD 2.0*
Line 6 Bass POD XT*
BOSS DR-670
Shure SM-58
Lexicon Omega* w/Cubase LE
Mac mini G4/1GB RAM
As you can see, I'm a guitarist :) The problem I have is with the items with asteriks. Both Line 6 products have MIDI I/O for downloading and changing...
Okay, I'm not a sound engineer, but this should be simpler than I thought. I recorded my acoustic guitar and it sounds tinny. I tried to adjust the EQ to round it out, but when I do it clips like crazy.
Can anyone share an EQ setting for acoustics? (edit -- link removed)
Thanks. Oh, BTW...
Greetings:
Take it easy on me, I've had a rough night. I am glad to have found this board, however. :)
Here's my setup:
Line 6 POD 2.0 & Boss DR-670 > Samson MDR6 > SB Live! > Audacity
This is what I have to record my guitar and drum/bass tracks with. I ran everything stereo into my mixer...
