I remember trying a few out back in the day and I thought they were unplayable just from the ergonomics of that shape. But that's what I also thought about their bowl back acoustics. Just wasn't my cup of tea.

Hey, what EQs and non-working pedals do you have? I've been needing both. The EQs because of my messed up hearing and I want to scavange some parts from some pedals. I wish I lived close enough to take the 18s of your hands. I've got some neighbors I want to annoy with my bass. :LOL:

But that's not a bound board, unless it's a Deluxe, right? But I guess if it'sl laquered, that would be a problem unto itself. You'd have to cut the laquer with a razor blade/exacto.

I don't have the money for an expensive refret, so of course I also don't have even more money to buy the tools. Looks like I won't be playing that one for a while.

Of course, they make it look like you need to buy 20 of their expensive tools to do it.

Call us when you get there so we can make sure you made it. I played one of those Gretsch's year ago, and I liked the way it played (I'm a short scale guy), but I didn't plug it in. The Meteora doesn't appeal to me at all. I'm with Track Rat (I usually am). All I care about is how it feels...

All I've seen is some of Fender's pics from FB. I said I thought it looked like something the tennage rock and roll band would have played on The Jetsons.

Yeah, I used to get really bad hand cramps on certain songs when I played bass in a band. It's pretty much why I called it quits. I jusy tried to play guitar (electric) last night and I almost couldn't bend the strings. And I've got 9s on it. :cry:

Anybody ever use one? Did it improve your strength and/or flexibility?
