recording midi Hi. Do you have the midi track routed to the VSTi? At the midi track, do you see a button with the #1 under it? Click on that. The dropdown has options for routing the output. Select the VSTi that you are using. I hope this helps and I hope I'm making sense. Good luck. lynn

Here's what I have... synth........midi in, out, thru RM1X........midi in and out MAudio Midisport 2x2 PC I want to sequence the synth sounds in the RM1X. Is this possible? So far I've been able to play the RM sounds with the synth....but when I record, I'm hearing the RM sounds and on...

can't find loops Hi.....hopefully you have it up and running now.....but make sure you have a loop CD in the drive, bring up the explorer window in Acid.......find your loops.......click on one that you want to hear......double click to put it in your project.......paint it in. I hope you can...

crashing acid Thanks for replying so quickly. Acid has always worked great and no, I haven't installed anything new recently. I have version 4.0e. Would it make that much of a difference with the newer version?

Acid 4 keeps crashing. And when it doesn't crash in the middle of something, some error message appears after closing the program.......sorry but this is the best I can do with that message: something about access violation something about a module something about a stack dump......a whole lot...
