anyone know how good these are? or what they're worth? i don't know much about mics, i've been recording for years now with 2 v-tech mics that i bought just to start with but never bought anything better until i got a sm57 a little while ago, anyways to continue my story. I just bought an AKG...
is this amp the little one about a ft or so high? I think that's the one you're talking about. Anyways, the guitar player for my old band had one of these and it was a horror to record. It had no power to it which for me at least always translated to a wimpy guitar sound. You're best bet...

I have one of the Danelectro U1 reissues. The problem i'm having is the 3rd and 4th strings are closer to the fretboard then the others and buzz like crazy. The bridge doesn't look adjustable. Any one have any ideas?
I have been using the Tascam porta 3 (basically the equivilant of the porta 2) for 3 or so years now. For people just starting out this machine is great. If you have decent mics you can get really good sound out of this cheap little 4-track. After years of using this machine i'm ready to...
hey,
i just thought i'd let people know. If you're planning on getting one of these machines, get it asap. Tascam doesn't make them anymore. I was going to buy one just before x-mas but the guy at the music store said he couldn't get them anymore. He was talking to the Tascam rep and their...
65 watt Ross guitar amp
I bought this about 10 months ago. Of that 10 months, it's been in the shop for 8. I keep blowing speakers in it. It sounds really good for the price. Great reverb and distortion. I'm not really sure of the age, but it looks like it's been through hell and back.
15...
Yeah, i have a terrible addiction too. I'm always afraid someone is going to find that guitar i've been looking for before i get my hands on it. I check the local pawn shops at least twice a week. The problem is, almost every time i go to one i find something i want. Only lately have i tried...
Right now i have 10 guitars. And i'm going to be getting a Danelectro U-1 very soon.
No Name SG Copy.
This was my first electric, it has a horrible warped neck and i rarely play it anymore
No Name Acousic.
Piece of crap with a crack right through the head stock held together with 3
huge...
Has anyone tried one of these? i'm thinking of asking my GF to get my one for x-mas. I've heard they get a great jangly sound. Most things that i've heard about them is that they shouldn't be someone's main guitar, i have 10 already so it's not a problem. These guitars a pretty cheap...
my first guitar was a horrible SG copy. It didn't even have a brand name on it. On the 12th fret the strings were almost 3/4 of an inch off the fretboard. I fixed it buy putting a piece of linoleum flooring under the base of the neck (yucK). I loved that thing until i got my hands on a real...

just thought i'd share my experience from this weekend. My band was recording a acoustic guitar song with drums. We always find it easier to record drums and electric guitar at the same time but had never had to try acoustic. We needed a way to stop the drums from bleeding into the acoustic...
