i was in thsi store and the dude was trying to sell me some superlux condensor mic
i was weary cause i've never heard the name
it "looked" good but taht don't mean anything
anyone hear of it and how good are they?
I currently have a big honkin yamaha amp p-2200
would i be able to use this to power some monitors?
or would that be too much power
it currently is running 2 18" altec's
but i obviously can't monitor with those but i don't really want to buy another amp
if this works then that would be great...
I was thinking about buyin the omni but I would only do it if i could run both at the same time with out having to have 2 cards
having the 12 ins and outs plus the added features of the omni would be great
do they just hook up together?
would i be better off to get a delta 66 with an audio buddy or dmp3?or even a behringer 1604
or would i best off to go straight for the omni studio
assuming i can get them for the same price
which woul I be better of with?
anyone know what the best mic (probably under 200) would be for the aggressive style of a hiphop/hard rock vocalist?
I am curretnly workin with 2 artists
1 with a really low voice
reallly low almost barry white low
and the other artist has a somewhat higher voice
I wouldn't think it would be...
anyone know where to get a portable vocal booth
I remember one of my old friends having one but i haven't talked to him in awhile
it had 3 walls and was closed on top
it had plastic tubing(as a frame) and that foam stuff on the inside
and you could fold it up and take it wherever or put it...
why would you need 10 outs if you are recording on to your computer
I don't get it
wouldn't you really just need ONE out to go to your monitors??
I don't see why you would need so many outs
ins I can understand
but outs ??
unless you are hooking up 8 speakers or whatever
I don't see the point
a delta 1010 with a seperate mixer like a behreinger mx1604 or a used mackie 1202
or a tascam us428
also I might be thinkin of this incorectlly
but with the first setup i can just align all the outputs from the mixer right in to the 1010
so it would go(as an example)
1- mic 1 in channel...
Is there anything out there that would allow me to have an actual physical controller in front of me that would control all the features in a program like nuendo or cubase
I've seen the tascam us428 and i think that does that
but are there any products out there that can do this and NOT be USB?
I've never really used cubase and I'm possibly interested in purchasing it
but i heard that no one records vocals in cubase
its not meant for vocals
is this true?
cause the only thing i really need to record IS vocals
any help wouldbe great
thanks in advance
