I like the normal one best with just the 4. But the room mic does has some nice room sound to the cymbals, but makes the toms sound too boomy..
I like the mic underneath too to bring out the kick, but I think you should turn it down in the mix.

Please help I'm having an issue in Adobe Audition where I can't hear things panned right. If I pan 100 Right it goes silent.
Other programs don't have this issue so I highly doubt a soundcard/speaker issue. I'm using E-MU ASIO Patchmix driver.
Are there any settings I can check to try...
I have found mixes always sound a tiny bit better before mixdown. It requires very nice monitors to hear the differences though. I think it's just the way the software combines the sounds.

I thought those were only for hearing what is being recorded (as apposed to hearing the session/metronome and what you are recording). :o

I have an E-MU 1616m soundcard, which has 3 1/8" speaker outs. How do I connect a standard pair of active(powered) monitors that have 1/4" inputs?(e.g. Yorkville YSM1P)

I have 3Gb RAM so hopefully that will be enough. Otherwise I will have to setup my spare hard-drive with XP, which will be a pain to switch back and forth(for work).
