Cool tune. Very well composed, played and mixed. The funky feeling kind of reminds me of Chickenfoot. I can totaly hear Sammy Hagar belting it out and Michael Anthony laying down some backing vocals on this one.
Thanks for taking your time to listen and give very helpfull detailed comments.
I will look into the drum sound. There is actually no heavy compressing going on. There is a subtle compressor on the drum bus that reacts to the snare with about 2db of gain reduction. That`s it. There is also some...
Here is Nameless Child. I am working on this song for the moment. Any suggestions and tips are welcome.
We have tried to make it sound kind of raw and sore with no overdubs except from vocals.
Sounds good to me. As TalismanRich pointed out, there is a lot going on, but your mix seems well balanced and gives space to everything going on.
As for the bass, in my opinion it needs to be that loud in a pumping rock track like this.
Well done!
As mentioned earlier, bring the guitars up. Bring the drums down a bit and bring the reverb on the drums down a lot.
You could also try to bring the reverb on the vocals down a bit in the verses and let it shine in the choruses.
Hello!
Such a great song and good memories!
Mixwise I feel that your guitars and bass should come down a bit in volume, and drums and vocals should come up a bit.
Mastered, uploaded and ready for release Oct 21.
Thanks for the inputs.

Hi folks!
Here is Shine, the next single from my band One and a half Dog.
Any comments on the mix before it goes to mastering will be appreciated.
And if you could help us suggest wich genre to tag this tune with when uploading to streaming platforms it would be very helpfull.
We are not sure...
A good song. As others have mentioned, the lead guitar is a bit (a lot) to loud. I would also consider to eq out a bit of the lows of the lead in the intro. As the song goes by the lead gets a little repetitive. Strong and well recorded and produced vocals.
Hello
Could use some fresh ears on this mix/production before it goes to mastering.
The mixbus is completely dry as I like to leave it before mastering. No limiter or compression.
Thanks for listening!

Hello
This is the song Outcast. Produced and mixed by me for my band One and a half Dog.
Could need some thoughts on this one before it goes to mastering. Is it a bit heavy in the lows? Vocals a bit to loud?
Any inputs are appreciated.
