What's the cleanest way to get your music on various distribution sites?

I'm waiting on the masters to return for my album, and from what I see, CDbaby appears to be the easiest way to get one's recording everywhere and still have the means to have cd's on hand. It does not seem that long ago that old classmates from my conservatory days were going thousands into...

    Another frustrating problem.

Reaper has run every VST plugin in I have thrown at it. If I gave you two identical tracks, one rendered with with stock Reaper plugins, the other with snootier second party plugins, could you identify which is which?

    Another frustrating problem.

This has happened to me, and it has always been a matter of the preferences not recognizing the drivers. My own experience is that Reaper likes to be the only audio program open on my system at any given time. If Media Player or iTunes is open, Reaper will be quirky. If Ableton or Audacity is...

Convert from Tascam to Reaper - Dumb Question #1 More to follow:)

If you have the plugin loaded on the track, it will sound but not "print" on the recording until you render it that way. Simply have it on while tracking, and turn it off prior to rendering.

    reaper

What is your application? A DAW is a DAW, what makes one better than another is how it adapts to -your- workflow. I love and swear by Reaper, but you can learn the bare bones basics fairly quick on Audacity, which is free.

fielding inquiries to master my solo classical guitar project

Actually, I was expecting that and am surprised at how little response I have gotten. My soundcloud page got lots of hits after posting the inquiry here, but hardly any after posting at GS. It's not a true "classical" recording, but it does involve classical guitar sound and technique, so most...

fielding inquiries to master my solo classical guitar project

This arrangement is the one arrangement on the project that I did not do myself. It was arranged by Timothy Walker and performed by Parkening on his "Sacred Music for Classical Guitar" record, later released on CD as "Simple Gifts". I play it considerably slower than Chris did, and my general...

fielding inquiries to master my solo classical guitar project

This is not so much an auditioning of ME's on my part, per se, rather, more of an auditioning of my own workflow and processes and see if something decent comes from a mastered sample. My biggest disappointments are that I can now hear the carpet's effect, and there are lots of places where...

Lesbians in WebCams. Is it truth?

Why is it in the www lesbians are so beautiful, but in real life at the Red X store they weigh 300 lbs, and have chains on their wallets, flat asses, and Billy Ray Cyrus haircuts?

    1st attempt

One at the upper fretboard, the other at the lower bout below the bridge, both about 6 inches away. RAMI, noted. Won't do with this post, but will with the next one.

    1st attempt

Guitar is right off of my bench and the finish and glues are barely dry, I thought while it comes into it's own, I'll get a feel for the process of mic placement, setting gains, etc. In CoolEdit I slightly reduced hiss and added reverb, I think in the future I'll back off the reverb a bit. 2...
