I think for now you should go for m/b which support DDR333 Ram. That means m/b should equipped with VIA KT333 chipset (If you go for VIA chipset). ECS is cheap. But for performance, I'd recommend Abit. While Asus is good but its price is usually higher than the others.

ECHO I see, I tried but the problem is there're echo everywhere whatever source it is. I followed the instruction in Sonar help file to eliminate echo (by mute the direct signal) but the echo still there.

I sent an email to Cakewalk tech support asking about this once and they said Sonar is capable for using effects while recording.

I'm using Art Tube MP with SM58 and try it with Rode NT-1 for a little bit. I think the sounds coming out it dull, I'm not sure if it's the cause of Art Tube MP or not. How can I make sure of that? And is it possible for the MP to act that way?
