If I use one soundcard for all my input and one for all of my output, on the input card could I simultaneously input from a coax source and optical source? For output, could I output 5.1 surround sound through optical and MP3's through S/PDIF at the same time? Will 2 RME HDSP 9652's work?

They seem to meet almost all of my needs except for the digital coax. Is there any card out there that has multiple coax inputs/outputs, or am I stuck in the dark?

So I can't send a digital 7.1 signal through coax?

I'm in need of a sound card that has 7.1 surround, coax in/out, optical in/out (not needed but preferred), support for DVD audio, and one that won't lose signal while travelling from coax out to a home theatre receiver. Any suggestions?
