If I use one soundcard for all my input and one for all of my output, on the input card could I simultaneously input from a coax source and optical source? For output, could I output 5.1 surround sound through optical and MP3's through S/PDIF at the same time? Will 2 RME HDSP 9652's work?

They seem to meet almost all of my needs except for the digital coax. Is there any card out there that has multiple coax inputs/outputs, or am I stuck in the dark?

OK, here's my problem. I need a computer for audio recording. It will record from 18 mics (yes it's a lot :D) via 3 Presonus DigiMax LT's and a Hammerfall soundcard. Can someone suggest which computer components would allow for this recording and editing? Need suggestions for CPU, RAM, HDD...

The only thing I could suggest would be to RAID the two hard drives in RAID 0 and you could probably upgrade that video card something a little better.

Yup, I'm interested. If no one has any success with running more than 1 Q10 at a time, I'll be buying a Motu 2048mk3 with 3 nice Presonus DigiMax LT's :D Hope it works because it'll save me a bit of money but there's no point in buying something that doesn't work like they say it does!
