Has anyone out there tested the Joe Meek JM47 microphone.... also anyone reading this from the U.K.....do you know any shops there that HAVE THEM IN STOCK...a friend of mine will be in the UK next week and will pick me up a couple, but the emails I have sent to all the stores advertised in SOUND...

I'm not sure what category to put this question in but..here goes I want to timecode my pc which runs logic and cubase....to my 2 inch 24 track analogue tape machine... I'm happy to slave the computer off the tape machine...which ever is easiest.... Any hints????

i am currently running my headphone feed into an amp, which then feeds a box with two headphone outputs for the control room...this box then chains itself to another 5 headphone box in the live studio..... The amp I have has been lent to me and is very noisy.... I have been contemplating buying...

hmmm....my first post..... I recently had a bit of an experiment in a friends studio mic'ing up a drum kit with ribbon mics as overhead...only other mics used were one on the snare and one one the bass drum....... I compressed heavily......anyway...what I managed to get was a kinda portisheady...
