So I think that no one knows about this problem.? 2 weeks later ? Just want to know why the headphones mix only sounds out in the left channel when the Aux channels are not linked...... Simple question really, but the solution seems to be missing?

Hi, I have a 4800 and I am not sure that I am getting the monitor mixes out correctly. At present I am using Aux 1 (mono and not linked to Aux 2) for my headphone mix to the recording room. However when I send signal from Aux 1 (or any Aux, 2,3,4 etc) it only will come out the left side...

Thats the way I would do it. I would use the Aux sends to each fold back creating what ever mix I wanted in each fold back by adjusting the Aux send on each channel. You could use other options as the 4800 has lots of output options however the easiest choice is the Aux sends 1 through 8. As...

Yeah I agree. I would rather record directly which is what I do most of the time. I have each channel set to "direct" on the ouput assign so really its direct into logic. I just read that the direct button overrides my buss assignment anyway and sends the signal before anything is processed...
