My mic (AKG3000) isn't working right now. I have it hooked through my mixing board via XLR to 1/4" cord. I take it is not working because the phantom power needs an XLR to XLR cord to power the mic right?

OK, i just got my AKG C3000 Mic yesterday. Do i need an adapter to mount my shockmount to my boom stand? I tested this mic out at the store and loved it the most (out of all the mics under $300). Any thing else about this mic would be greatly appreciated.

I'm wondering if anyone in here has used this mic. It's pretty cheap for a condenser mic and it seems to work good from what i've heard (then again i haven't tested that many mics). What are your inputs? www.mp3.com/zoneseven

ive been having problems finding good soundfonts. I need GrandPiano, etc. Let me know if you know of any good FontCDs. Jimmy

i just hooked up my midi keyboard to my soundblaster live card and i am using it with Cakewalk 9. so far it works really good. after a while....the MIDI would stop working! has anyone ever encountered this problem? it this just a RAM problem??
