how are you guys racking your dmp3? its hight makes it impossible to put in a universal rack tray. especially if you have something racked above it!
BTW I have the dmp3 (for toms) an art Pro MPA (for snare bottom/room) a rane msb-1 (for snare top) an RNP (for Overheads) and a GR ME-iNV (for...
I have all three. the rane I use on snare drum and the dmp3 I use on snare bottom and room mic. they're both similar, I'd go with the dmp3 for the reasons staed above. you definetly need a stereo pre in the event you record an acoustic guit. the Rane isnt noticably better in comparison to...

hey guys, A trusted friend asked me to sell off some of his studio gear as he's losing his lease and has decided to go with a mobile location approach to his buisness. he's clearing out all his studio gear. it has some rack rash but mainly from moving around the studio. (it never left his...
I installed Sonar 2.2 on my "C" system drive, and I want to set up all the sessions (songs) on my "D" (audio only) drive?
I've always used pro tools le where the entire PT's program is installed on the C system Drive, while all the audio/templates/song info is recorded on the dedicated audio...
I picked up a 69 SF Princeton and the original speaker was farting out a bit too much. I stuck a 10" webber 25watt 10F15T lightly doped speaker in it and it sounds fender sweet!
note:
I dont have the reverb version with the extra tube gain stage, so I'm not sure if my exact speaker choice will...
where the pod is passible is right where your using it. thin, chimey, effected picking parts a bit buried in the atmosphere of that type of tune. especially with the sample "type" drum sound/groove you're going after. (it all sounds nice)
where the pod srtuggles IMO is in all the semi dirty...
Is there another amp company that makes a small marshallish sounding tube valve amp with EL34 tone? ...small in the catagory of the Fender Pro/Blues jr type amps?
that DSL is probably still a bit loud and the 18watt re-issue is way expensive!
thanks
Marshall doesnt make small, low watt, tube combo amps (ala fenders 15 watt Blues and Pro Jr.)
What amp company has basically copied the Marshall sound, yet offers a small tube combo low watt amp? at a small price?
for recording only, no gigs!
thanks
