    Facelift, Post-punky song from Sweden

UPDATE: The bass was really sloppy so I retracked it. Is the groove any tighter? I also changed a lot of other things in the mix and the arrangement http://soundcloud.com/alex-aran/facelift

You mean the bass hits are early? Lower the bass? Do you mean im pitch or in volume? Thanks.

    Facelift, Post-punky song from Sweden

That was some really interesting feedback right there! :) I totaly agree that the bass is to dry...I've almost never used reverb on basslines so this might be just the opportunity to start? which reverb should I shorten the tail of? the one on the vocals?

Feedback on an ambient/minimal techno (?) track

Yeah, I like to experiment with different genres and sounds a lot (I just use my soundcloud to link songs to forums and people I know) ...Not really going for an album right now but interesting observation! :) Yeah you might be right! I wanted the bass to be anonymous, but went a little mad...

Feedback on an ambient/minimal techno (?) track

Hey! I don't even know what you call this kind of music, but I guess you could call it some kind of ambient/minimal techno? Anyway, what do you think of the song and the mix? It's a really tricky one, that's for sure. https://soundcloud.com/alex-aran/into-the-green

DBSTRD - "Everything Again" (80s indie popisch)

It sounds like you are talking about an arrangement issue? I really want the chorus to be heavy and mean. Screaming. Any particular instrument that create those nasty frequencies? Not sure if I hear that. I don't think the song sound that compressed either. But maybe that's a matter of taste?

DBSTRD - "Everything Again" (80s indie popisch)

That's some interesting feedback! Thank you. What do you mean with "a piercing harshness"? And what do you think is clipping? The vocals?
