UPDATE:
The bass was really sloppy so I retracked it. Is the groove any tighter? I also changed a lot of other things in the mix and the arrangement

That was some really interesting feedback right there! :)
I totaly agree that the bass is to dry...I've almost never used reverb on basslines so this might be just the opportunity to start?
which reverb should I shorten the tail of? the one on the vocals?
Hey!
What do you guys think of this song (mostly) in terms of mixing? I'm going to finish it tomorow night and could use some good feedback before that

Yeah, I like to experiment with different genres and sounds a lot (I just use my soundcloud to link songs to forums and people I know) ...Not really going for an album right now but interesting observation! :)
Yeah you might be right! I wanted the bass to be anonymous, but went a little mad...
Hey! I don't even know what you call this kind of music, but I guess you could call it some kind of ambient/minimal techno?
Anyway, what do you think of the song and the mix? It's a really tricky one, that's for sure.

Hey what's up? As usual, I want som feedback on a new song. The style is kind of Blade Runnerisch electronic.
Any feedback is welcome (sound, structure etc) so don't be shy! I can take it :) Thanks.

It sounds like you are talking about an arrangement issue? I really want the chorus to be heavy and mean. Screaming.
Any particular instrument that create those nasty frequencies? Not sure if I hear that. I don't think the song sound that compressed either. But maybe that's a matter of taste?
