I just did. Strings are cheap and the store gets them even cheaper, there's no reason to not change them.

We were raised on AM top forty as kids and I remember my bother bringing home Deer Purple Machine Head along with some Black Sabbath records and it blew my mind. They didn't play this stuff on the radio. The album was solid front to back and still holds up well today.

I'm thinking it was just strings, but I have bought strings from a specialty store for sets that MF didn't stock. Specifically lap steel sets for different keys.
