Scott and myself have a new virtual jam just about done apart from the intro which we're still mulling over.
How's the overall mix and general presentation? Any observations would be great...

Unique - sounds like Bowie in the 80s - not sure the guitars work together - not sure if they do work - drums are bit flat -
to me it sounds like something is missing in the middle - the vocals are great - harmonies really work.

I like it. The mid section got a little crazy which I loved. It was like an 80’s Mr. Bungle. I have no issues with the mix. I have no issues with the intro because that gritty fuzz tone on the guitar is really cool.

Boost up the volume quite a bit on that center guitar at the end that starts at 3:24. It’s already centered; make it front and center. It sounds cool but it’s quiet so the song ends on kind of a weak note.

That’s all I got for you. Nice work!

Thanks Papanate. Yeah the guitars sound great solo'd together, but perhaps less so in the context of the whole track. I went back and muted one of them, it's certainly added a lot more space.
The drums are just gated kick and snare with a little bit of overhead to bring in some metalwork. Any ideas on how to unflatten them?

Yes I bumped that guitar at the end, as it did kind of peter out. Thanks for the spin Flyguitarfish

On the fifth listen - I think the drums are a style and not flat - the vocals are fantastic.
