Man, thanks everyone! I'm at the deep-into-the-weeds part of this project where I'm just getting worried nothing about this is good enough and why am I even bothering in a world where "newcomers" like Nick Johnson, Andy Wood, and Angel Vivaldi exist, and while I'm still binging my favorite Joe Satriani and Andy Timmons albums, and... I guess, thanks for liking this stuff. I need to get the momentum back going, and finish the last 2/3 of the lead guitar parts, then reamp everything and start mixing!

I know pinch harmonics are more touchy feely than anything else. I can do it once in a while, but I love the sound.

How much gain do you use? Gain definitely helps, and I guess (I'm writing this without a guitar in hand) I feel like I angle the pick a little more when I'm trying to draw out some of those overtones. Not sure when I next think I'll get a few minutes with a guitar but I'll try to remember to spend some time on this and see if anything comes out...

Drum programming by hand will drive you mad... but Superior 3 is VERY natural sounding, and if you put the work in you can get phenomenal results.
