I am currently shopping for VSTs and effect plugins free or not and I am seeing things like "Humanize track" "AI Mixing and Mastering assistant" etc., it is going to be in everything.

Yes, the money is to make a person sound great, without the work, then AI.

For me, while I will use the tools, I have to find where I will cut it off. Kind of like the Amish, as some point you live inside a self imposed tech time frame. I have mine in my little pea brain, I push the tech, push the sound, push the music. But it is still my own self imposed boundaries.

For me, I do it for my own reasons, therefore I do it to my own set of rules. If I were a painter, I would be reluctant to go digital, (I wouldn't care, just an example), if I ran an old hot rod, points, etc.

Just ask yourself, where do I want to go and more importantly, how do I want to get there? I think for 99.9% of us, that is the real question. I will not be famous, not do I want to be at this point in time of my life.

10 cents worth (inflation, actually less than a penny in 1960 rates) 😂

This is one of the reasons I ditched Studio One and went to Samplitude. Too much Internet integration in Studio One, as well as they are moving towards 'AI' integration.

Hi Keano12,

I don't know what they are adding, I jumped ship before it sailed. Not interested in finding out.

Studio One is a great product, but the continuous feature adding and reliance on an Internet connection got to me after awhile.
