Hi Odi,
Welcome to the forums.

The songs may speak for themselves but that doesn't make for great conversation.
Tell us a bit about your creations, and processes.

Are there areas you struggle with or things you think other members might be able to help with?

I see you've had some replies on your other thread.
Thumbs-up acknowledgement is nice but I'm sure you'd get more from the experience engaging in conversation with people. (y)

So - are you producing these tracks? Are you involved with the performances? What's the dealio there? These tracks are very strong.
It's not SUNO/UDIO lol... I do play guitar, bass, drums(E-Kit), keys, and sing. Yes, they are my arrangements and production.
I use Logic. So, MIDI instruments make recording demos very convenient. The female VOX is a fully programmable synth (Synthesizer V).

Hold up. That vocal is you - a male - synthesized AI to make it sound like a woman??

Please forgive because I'm not that knowledgeable... but what did you mean by this ^^^^^

No actual performance required, and the result is the increasingly mechanized sound of software doing what performers do. I admire the cleverness of it, but it doesn't come close to having the effect on me that music performed in real time has. Also, for me, using Synthesizer V would mean a ton of tedious detail-level donkey work/time that would be better spent on the joy and challenge of actually playing and singing. So it amounts to not as much joy making it, and not as much joy listening to it. But if that still appeals...

Much as I appreciate the appropriateness of the impersonality of your response in the context of a discussion about machine music, I still want to ask: what's your point? That the software can do some of the donkey work for you?

That explains why the vocals never really get into a groove. I mean it sounds nice, I like how they make good verses, and it explains why you didn't do a chorus.

But it is impressive, but it seems it has a very limited use. But you might be very clever. Keep posting and we can see how diverse you can make it.

Odi , I enjoyed the song and appreciate the tedious work envolved to get it to this point. I honestly don't think it's any different than using and manipulating pre recorded vocal phrases .
I also understand the comments about the AI , and we all know it's going to grow at an astounding pace. It's Already happened in the past few years.
For me , this looks like a tool that would come in handy when you Don't have access to female singers. I would for sure use it for harmony sections or reinforcing a real vocal performance.
I'm sure most performance purists dissagree about using AI , but bear in mind that some multi instrumentalists don't agree with using a synth to replicate instruments either. Synth guitar especially. Just my 2 cents .. Enjoyed it .. mark

Thanks Mark.
I just pulled an old "pre-AI" song out of the drawer and uploaded my VOX track to SynthV.
I was quite surprised with the results...
Will post soon.

So AI is emulating this singer Emma Rowley's voice?

Sorry, it's a bit hard to follow and I don't really want to watch 20 minutes videos. I'm lazy. But curious enough to ask a question.

I don't think so for this.

Just watch the first 16 seconds to hear what it can do, male to female.

(Watch the rest to see how)

I got that part. I was trying to figure out where Emma Rowley fits in to all of this. Is it her voice being emulated? That was the dot I was trying to connect.
