Thinking about getting a studiologic sledge

Anyone got experience with one of these? I love how it sounds on youtube and I’m thinking I could replace my aging MIDI controller with it. I’m looking for some kind of poly to complement my mono synth and this seems like the most bang for the buck.
 
No experience, and have no idea what it is, but I have thought about takng a sledgehammer to my studio many a time. :D
