Vocal Dist Plugins

Gents,

Been struggling to get a vocal tone that I like, part of this is that I just don't like the sound of my voice.

I don't want to go mental with effects, so just use reverb, compression and EQ but a mate of mine recommended the Red Light Dist from Studio One - I've listened to a few of his examples and they sound great. Anyone know if this plug in is available to buy? Or if something similar is available.

Run a send out through a guitar amp. Then mic the amp!

I've used a Cakewalk amp sim for exactly this purpose.
