I thought you were the singer!
well now an even bigger OMFG!

No .... that's someone named 'Jazzy' Joel. I've seen him at someone's gig once and he showed up there that night.

I'm the guy not singing behind him.

I found a better vid where you sing quite a lot and rip off a bit of tasty soloage. :D

Cool vid Bubba.....

Bob: When JDOD posted that, you reaction was about what I expected, although a little more reserved than I thought you'd be....:).

I haven't specially made a video for this thread, but seeing as we're posting videos and if you would like to hear my live tone in context and see my laughably pasty-faced visage, check this out. :D

Oh, and it's the talented scion of House Po drumming on this. :thumbs up:

Man you guys do a great job on both those songs.

Nice to see you playing Lt Bob & Bubba.
The Jazzy dude didn't look happy during the solos - couldn't think of anything pithy to say except hackneyed phrases.
Cool switch from axe to sax and bax again too.
Bubba, your band do good work & do it well. Has the rhythm guitarist tried his parts on a Tele?

I can totally understand why you wouldn't want to be mistaken for Jazzy Joel.
Does he always sing like that...kinda strained, off key, and not all that enthusiastically?
I guess that's what makes him "Jazzy". :D

He used to go by spazzy, but then he got real fat.

Maybe someone told him to "Get out there and sing like you've never sung before" and he misunderstood.

That's gotta be my favourite Pistols song! There's still something weird with the clip though that I can't put my finger on on. Kind of like a fizzy buzzyness that I can hear right in the middle of my head! Greg might be able to spot in - I don't fucking know - but aside from that, sounds decent enough.

Have a laugh at this - I love my guitar chair - and I can rest my left hand on the radiator too:

---------- Update ----------

Speaking of Easter - I've always thought its more of an Ironic Friday than a particularly good one.

Haha nice vid man. The tone sounded kinda squashed, like the power section or speaker wasn't working hard enough. It looked like you were home at the apartment, so I understand not being able to just crank it up. Nice playing though, and it's good to put a face to the name...er, initials...or whatever :D

I've gotta listen to all these clips to catch up, gimme a little while...

Bubba, if you're not worried about "messing" your cab up, take a sharpie, & make a little circle where the center of each speaker is. You'll need your flashlight shining in there while you do this, & believe it or not, black works the best. I did this to my bastard cab, & it really helps with the mic placement. The last clip I posted, I'd just threw the mic up a little off of the "dot" on my grill cloth...

You can see the dots pretty easily here on the top speakers (the bottom "dots" are there, you just can't see 'em because of the lighting in the pic):

These look like they're pretty crooked/off center, but it's just for a general idea of where the cap is...

You'll probably have to put a couple/few layers on it with the sharpie, but it actually does help dude...

Where did you find a Marshall cab that has nipples? 4 of them, even! :D

Actually that's not a bad idea. I'd used tape for my Traynor, which had a similarly dense grill cloth. I always wondered if the tape hurt the sound (and I never got a terrific tone from that amp). The sharpie would work and be transparent.

I imagine so .... I mean, this was just something that happened one night several years ago .... but he sucks and I can't imagine him getting better.

:laughings:

Hahaha, yeah I kinda cringed at that singer. But that guitar player...now he's got a future in this business!

I can't seem to find your original post here to quote (plus I suck at doing the multi-quote thing with a thread as busy as this one), but nice job on the vid. Is that the new Marshall on that clip?

It was up quite loud, about midway on the master, but not crazy loud. Yeah, I'm at home and it's a semi detached house. I think my neighbour is pretty ill at the moment too, she has permanent care anyway but nurses are there a lot now too.

Just got around to watching this with breakfast. Sounds great, would love to make it to one of your gigs.

Thanks, mate. What's the furthest you would go to? At present the furthest south we get is Sheffield, or very occasionally North Nottingham.

Thanks, Tadpui! The amp on the vid is the TSL, I'll have to make a comparison vid with the JVM.
