Didn't know where to post this, but found it most suiting here.

Check out this song:
Supergrass - Time - YouTube

The title says it all really. I'm pretty sure it is an A-major harmonica used in the song, but I'd liked it confirmed before I go buy one.

I'm no harmonica expert by any means, but I don't think it's an A major harp. He bends an E note down almost a half step around the 2:10 mark. That means that has to be a draw note (I'm pretty sure), and I don't think you can draw that E note on an A harp. It would be a blow note (blow 6 I believe).

That's very useful! The only harmonica I have is a D, and if I'm not mistaken that's what's being used in the song.

That would make sense, because you could draw that E note on hole 4 and bend it down a half step (or very nearly). I think you've got it.

I caught this off of another site like week and had no idea. Thought it would be useful.

Any harmonica experts out there? Would like some more opinions on this one.
