Hey, guys. New here. I run a studio out of my home and offer editing services via the web. Is posting your services here allowed and if so, which is the best room to post in? I couldn't find one for recording services. Thanks!

If you hang around and get involved with threads, then you can add the link to your sig, and folks will be more receptive when you are actually a posting member...and not just a one time spammer.

Nope, not allowed. And thank you very much for asking. As Miro pointed out, join the discussions and put a link in your signature. We have many industry professionals who come here to dispense advice and knowledge. They don't (well, most don't) blatantly advertise their products or services, but they get referrals from the links.

They contribute to the forums without mentioning their own products or services, and in doing so, there is a bit of vetting that takes place. When the advice is solid, you know they probably provide good service. We do get some people here who claim to be professional, but their advice doesn't always pass the smell test, they won't get many/any referrals.

And just so you know, this site is made up almost entirely of DIY recording musician types who want to do it all themselves.
