Bonsoir Everyone!
I'm not even sure if this is the right forum for this :p
I have had my Boss RC30 for a little under a year now and have recently been experiencing a huge problem with it (I bought it as new from a cash converters). I have it in my setup inclueding a Yamaha THR5a amp and an Epiphone EJ. The problem started 2 days ago : upon pluging in the audio jack that links my guitar to the looper i could here a loud buzzing coming from my amp. (this is the worrying part!) When I touched the metal parts on my amp (handle on/off switch) I got a small electric shock. The same goes for the metal ends on my guitar cable. I have tried to narrow it down and I think it is a problem with the 2 inputs on the RC30 (I have changed the cables many times and even bought new ones to be sure) The guitar works fine just though the amp. And my allready recorded loops sound fine too. Please help I have no idea what the problem could be and I fear that my RC30 is no longer under guarantee.
Thank you in advance ;)

If you are getting electric shocks...you have an electrical grounding problem, and that needs to be addressed...which should also make the buzzing go away.

Thanks! :D

Ok thank you but why would it be only though the looper input. I dont get the shocks when i just use guitar and amp. I've never had these problems before either or with any other HIFI equipment. (150W a channel amps, Large speakers, DAC ...) How would I go around fixing it ?

One of your devices is the problem...you just have to go through your connections and find it.
It's hard to say where/what is the cause over the internet.

If it was just a typical ground loop hum/buzz...then you could isolate it, break it...but when you say you are getting shocks, that's cause for concern and it's worth checking the whole thing out.
You shouldn't get shocks through your audio gear.

Most wallwart power supplies (and pedals) are ungrounded, I'd suspect a problem in either the power supply or the pedal itself.
