Ok this is the first time I ever posted what I think is some of my best drum solo'ing that I ever captured on tape. This is early 2000s when I still had a pretty good size studio before I went thru a divorce. I had a lot of recording equipment even then, but decided to prove that I could get a great recording of this big kit I had put together..... with only 4 mics and my Tascam 424.This is one of 5 short solos, think I mixed it straight to a CD recorder with very little processing. Please let me know what ya'll think and then I will see if I will post the other 4 short solos.....thanks and happy listening !!!

PS
turn your best speakers UP LOUD !!!

Forget something?

I am no expert, but I thought it sounded really good. Good enough where with a little processing you could get it into any mix. Are you still playing drums?

Thanks David, drums is my "natural" born instrument but I haven't played in a band in a few yrs. just "spot" sometimes. Im really working on writing instrumentals and Christian music (on my own) and hope to put something together in the near future that I can at least leave a legacy behind....:)

I wasn't sure which of your 3 posts of this to reply to, but I'll stick to replying to it in the clinic, where I belong. :)

Cool T-man. Did you record this back in the day on those cassettes, or was that something else? I don't know anything about drumming really, and I'm a noob at recording...sooo, I'm sorry I can't critique much on either of those two things. Someone who can will be along to soon enough. Both sound good to me though. Love the drums, wish I had learned. Be really good to hear you drumming to a tune in the future.

Whether we like it or not. Plus, the governments (not just US) will keep a copy.

Were you answering for Greg here? and if you were its ok but I think ya'll misinterpreted what I meant as a "legacy" ....I wasn't referring to legalities but, leaving sort of a testimony to give God the credit (for my talent) and glory before I leave this world. Nothing to do with "posts" are "copies" left behind for government etc etc....

drumming sounds damn good to me. the mix is nice but the right side sounds too much bass.
