Hi everyone...

I am an aspiring artist and I wanna be a star.
I started joining forum to learn how can I exactly be famous, well at least be known a little.

It's been a whirlwind of fame and glory since I joined this forum...I just want my old boring life back. :D

Do you have that trouble where every time you go somewhere a bunch of photographers jump out of bushes and take photos? It really gets me down, if only I had never joined this forum.

Hey rea, if you don't mind me asking, how old are you? You don't have to give an exact age if you don't want to, but are you a teenager, in your 20's, 30's? Just curious.

It's good that you are an aspiring artist.

It's not good that you want to be a star.

There are two reasons:

1 The chances of you becoming a star are remote. You are one of the many thousands who think the same, and are all doing their best to outdo the others.

2 You might become a star, but a better strategy is to become really good at what you do. Stardom is not a gift bequeathed from some mystical being to the deserving. It arise through skill, knowledge and many years of practice and experience.

I obviously agree with you on paper, but unfortunately, this isn't really true any more. A "Star" can be fabricated out of no talent these days. Sad but true.
 
Let's wait and see if we get an answer on the age thing. This can be anyone's little sister, and it would break anyone's heart to see her get attacked by a bunch of jaded old arseholes.

Guitaristic's Steps to Fame



1) Get a Youtube account

2) Cover every single pop song that comes out as soon as it peaks on the radio

3) Be good at it

4) Watch the subscribers and Youtube deals roll in

5) You're kinda famous to a group

Fame is all about having a massive reputation. In order to build a reputation you must engage in extraordinary behavior. Sitting around at mums posting on a message board is not that extraordinary. Look at us. None of us are famous. If you want to be noticed you have to do something noticeable. What I suggest is later tonight, walk into a bar and single out the biggest tallest meanest looking dude in the place. Walk up to him and punch him in the face as hard as you can. What happens after isn't important. People will notice you, and then start to talk about you. So do it. Now. Tonight. Unless, of course, you don't feel you're cut out for it....
 
Sooo... either doesn't want it THAT much or has realised we have nothing to offer.....;)
