Greetings all,

I am writing a new song for a female friend to record. She prefers melancholy songs, so this is a slower-tempo song laced with an abundance of minors and descents, and it's in 9/8 time for something a little different.

The song is about a woman's lost love and the drama that is woven into her life as a result. It includes aspects of regret, reflection, longing, and an element of fiction that fixates on a happy ending that she imagines in her mind.

Edit: The lyrics are tentative at this time. I will be adding demo vocals shortly thereafter as a guide for my friend to record the song as her own.

The song is entitled "Drama". Comments regarding the general structure of the backing track and the lyrics are welcomed. Thanks kindly.

I like this tune, its different to what you normally come up with and the more melancholy sound certainly appeals to me..strange that :-) I can't wait to hear how your friend will sing this, beegee boy :-)
 
Apparently I need 10 posts before I can post a link to a song so I think I have four more to go so Im just using up another one to say please finish your Designs on You song completely ok coz I like that one too..
