Hi all! I'm new here. My name is George and I do amateur home recording of my drums.
I just bought a Korg D888 console and I am having an issue with the audio output. I use a stereo to listen to playback and it has an AUX input with the red/white RCA plugs. The console, however, has 1/4" L and R outputs.
I bought a pair of RCA to 1/4" Mono adapters. So red was plugged into a mono adapter and put into the R output and white was plugged into a mono adapter and put into the L output.
I plugged my iPod into channel 8 using an 1/8" to 1/4" cable to test signal.
I'm getting mono playback and I don't know why.
Do I need to get an 1/8" stereo to DUAL 1/4" mono cable and use 2 channels? or do I need to get RCA to STEREO 1/4" adapters?
Any info or advice is appreciated!
