Hi everyone
I've been having problems recording guitar into cubase using my Line 6 UX2.
Every time I try and record guitar the sound breaks up to the point where it's just noise. I've tried opening the asio4all control panel and moving the buffer slider to the right and this fixes the problem for a few seconds but soon breaks up again no matter how far to the right I move it.
I have used this setup before for a couple of years and never had this problem, it only started when I bought and installed a midi keyboard but even when I remove the midi keyboard the problem still exists.
The laptop I'm using has an 2.67ghz i5 processor with 8gb of ram which has always been more than enough to run a cubase project with 10+ guitar tracks playing at the same time.
If anyone has a clue how to fix this I would be hugely grateful.
Thanks
Ps. I should also point out that it's not just the guitar track that breaks up but anything else thats playing as well such as drum/synth parts.
