Good idea. I wouldn't want someone to steal my exercises and put them on the internet.

How will he ver be able to trust people he's never met over the internet again.
You can't detract reputation from the same forum twice.
Don't the terms and conditions of the forum have something in them about protecting the confidentiality of others? If they don't, they should. I think it's a given.
This thread did nothing for me if not cross-section the personality of this forum.
Rod did bring up some valid points. You do need to be your own best critic. But getting the opinion of your mom or best friend may not be as productive as the "anonymous" opinion of a stranger. Only the most functional personal relationships will actually give you ideas for improvement, and a dysfunctional one will pick your work apart unnecessarily.
It sounded to me like CT's real fear was having unfinished work released too soon. I have that fear, and it should not be considered a reflection on the members' trustworthiness. Whoever posted that making music for money is a dying possibility makes me scared. I know what you mean, and I can see the truth of it, but I'd really like to keep hope alive for the music industry. I only just got here!
CT, your genre description piques my interest as well. Can't wait to get a taste of your stuff, when you're ready.![]()
If you post as an attachment, you have absolutely no recourse as - after the editing window passes, you have no ability to remove the content whatsoever, a total loss of control.......
This thread just keeps going!
I don't actually understand the exact nature of the OP's concern and am curious, so I wondered if someone could explain it to me in layman's terms? I don't know what torrent or rapidshare is although I've heard the words used here occasionally.
Is the concern that someone might propose that they're willing to listen to your music and critique it, but would then instead decide to share it on the internet without your knowledge or even against your will?
If so, I truly don't understand what would motivate someone to do that, and I therefore can't imagine why that would be something to be concerned about. What would anyone gain from this? I'm asking this seriously, as I genuinely don't understand.
]So, there's nothing inherently illegal about a torrent though, is there? I mean, you could share non-copywrited material that way too, right?
