I made one of these once.

All the vocals recorded through it stunk like toe cheese.

Ahh. Very nice my good man! I'd like to hear a sample!

that's just a very short bit I just quickly cut out
you can hear the full song with all the vocals in my signature

Not bad at all. Was expecting it to be a bit more muffled.

No mate my rooms small ( i got the 8 ppp )and i'm going to double up the thickness where needed.
I have some think pine wood from some old wardrobe doors i intend to make the frames from and some weed barrier fabric to cover them in until i can get some fabic i like to cover them in later. Or should i say some fabric the wife likes lol :spank:

This is where you want to be for insulation for room treatment Ollie mate.

Insulation Direct 2 U. Rocksilk slabs RS45

I just bagged myself 8# pieces of 60mm thick for less than £18 + pp
Thanks to Paul "Steeno" Steenamaroo for the link

I have looked at that stuff before actually, but it was an american website so this would be a lot easier. The annoying thing is, because I'm a 15 year old, I cant have any permanent panels in, so they need to be able to move around, so would the way people normally make acoustic panels to hang on a wall, make them stable enough to stand up, or would I need to do something about that?
Also there is no way that I'll be making low end bass traps, they'd be way to big and hard to move regularly.

I cant have anything permanant either. i'm making light weight frames that hang on screws in the wall.
ask around what is a good thickness for bass trap you'd probably be surprised. gtg :p

panty hose.
as in the old name for tights or precursor to trousers
I made something similar once using a clothes nager and stocking I used the hook of the hanger to grip the stand.
