Personal opinion follows. Grain of salt necessary. The decision to ultra compress and add distortion to the drums, and to ultra compress/limit the mix has does nothing for this song. Things that should be huge sound small, areas that need a dynamic change are at exactly the same volume.

I've included a link to a sonic youth song from about 20 years ago. They were pretty much masters of dynamics. Even on a shitty youtube video you can hear it. Lots of menace, lots of growl, but the drums sound like drums, you can clearly hear the bass, every guitar has its place. I am *not* suggesting you take your song in this direction - just giving an example of what I am talking about...

Also - if you get the impression I am bagging on your song, I'm not. I reply to posts that I find interesting. There is something under there, but in my personal opinion you need to draw it out.
