Yes. Right down to the coils. The other bit of ingenuity was created by John Deacon, from a discarded car radio randomly found in a rubbish skip. That became the Deacy Amp which produced many of Brian's other signature tones. Brian plugged a treble boost pedal into the Deacy and it produced all sorts of weird and wonderful tones through it's <1 watt output. A lot of the magic is put down to germanium semiconductors.
