Dynamic filtering plugin or Envelope enabled ?

Hi, taking a departure from traditional rock based mixing to have some fun with dance tracks.

We all know that famous dance music filter sweep yeah ? I cant seem to find out how to do it in Reaper. In Adobe Audition ( uninstalled now ) it was as easy as selecting dynamic eq then assigning it to a discrete ( not global fx ) envelope. Anything similar in Reaper ?

Not all of us know that 'famous dance music filter sweep'! Some of us only listen to real music. :p Is it just an EQ filter? That would be easy to automate.
 
Yeah, EQ filter sweep.

Famous Dance Music Filter Sweep is sweeping the EQ from sounding like the music is coming from downstairs to front and present, iow the highs are out then reintroduced, sometimes leading to a boost to the highs. I can do it on my individual VSTi but I want to create a Reaper bus.

I have created a folder, whacked on the EQ ( this case FFT EQ +dynamics, as it has easy to work with GUI graph ), dialed in the starting settings ( highs rolled off ) , ticked the visible/ arm FX wet envelope then made my envelope.
Now this works well if I just want the one eq setting of highs rolled off and then return to normal but what if i want the highs boosted at the finish of my selected passage ?

Turns out I have to create two instances of the EQ, the before and the after then make a WET envelope for each.
 
You can create envelopes for most individual EQ parameters. Is the EQ frequency not one that you can do that with?

I cant find it in the check boxes, drop down or by right/left clicking the GUI of the included plugs
 
ReaFIR ....not on my reaper puter at the mo' will try ReaEQ later on. You saying, graph points on Rea EQ plug are envelope controllable ?

Coulda sworn I checked ReaEQ, maybe not.
