I'm sick of it. I'm done. It's me.

Please don't cross post. You have it up in the MP3 clinic, that's the only place it should be.

Well, singing and mixing are two different things? It is possible to solicit comments on the mix, and on the vocals separately? But the OP here doesn't seem to address/solicit any issues specific to singing/vocals.

My name is Joshua. Hi Robby. Good point. Who cares where I post. Apparently "someone does". Have I tampered with your browsing experience, Rat? I did this song in an improv. state of being, so I shared it with the intentions of sharing. That is all. I am not looking for your approval, Rat. Relax my man.

Don't be a dick junior. Try to get along.

Well, it's fun to be a dick sometimes, and I've been guilty on more than one occassion. So your song? The delay doesn't work with just a guitar and the vox on this style. And I just posted about emotion/feeling over hitting the notes? But it can be carried too far? ;-) My advice would be;

1. Reduce the delay by 1/2

2. Spread the guitar, and add a touch of verb.

3. Use a noise gate on the mics.

4. Tune the guitar down a whole step, or play it in another key.

5. Sing it with emotion, but maybe a weence less.

I was actually extremely integrated with herbal supplements at the time. ;) I may actually turn this into a real composition at one point. Who knows. I just improved the whole thing in one take. Just some free form movement and such. I love getting into my subconscious center, it is something special for me. A breath of reality. Pure reflection. Thanks for the input, I will keep all of the above in mind. You are a smart human. Truly. :)

Not that I know much, but I would back off the reverb just a bit on both the guitar and vocals.

My reaction to your voice is I hate it. It doesn't sound genuine to me.

I like the guitar playing more than I like the singing but after a few listens, the vocal isn't bad. It's not as harsh as it initially sounds. The delay is a bit irritating but that's more down to the execution than the actual idea. I figure if you were mixing it for keeps you'd work on it.
I thought it sounded genuine enough, in a wheezy psychotic anguished kind of way. It would fit in the final scene of a Kurt Cobain biopic quite snugly.
