Hello everybody!
I just published my first song!!
This was also the first time that I recorded, mixed and "mastered" (It's the part i know less), so be kind ahah
(I know it was stupid, i should have posted here before publish it, in order to fix some stuff, but i was too much excited lol).
- Voice was recorded with a AKG220 plugged into a Roland UA-25EX
- Guitar and bass were recorded as a naked track, creating the sounds with amp/impulses simulation
- Piano, strings and organ: i played a master keyboard, assigning some VST
- Drums: recorded with a digital drums, using Superior Drummer as VST
Anyway, you can listen to the song here Fade to Rain - Betrayed - YouTube
I spent much time in the mix...about the mastering, I started from some presets of iZotope Ozone and then just made it sounds good to my hears...of course i will study more about this!
And I didn't use monitors (cause i still don't own them).
I'd just like your opinion about the mix, so I can understand what I can improve in the future!
Thank you very much,
Alessandro
