Is there anyone here who would be interested in mastering for free?

My band is working on an album that we will be wrapping up in a few weeks. If someone wanted to master for free or a very low price it would be great. We are a high school band, and we will be giving our album out for a really low price so we cant really afford pro mastering. Primate House : EPK | OurStage this is our music and a little bit about us. I hope someone out here is feeling generous :D
 
I actually saw a place not too long ago, with a decent gear selection and an engineer that at least seemed like he knew what he was doing, that was working for nuttin' just to get a client list going. If I can spot him, I'll send you the info.
 
Thanks man! I have t racks but if I could get a skilled guy with a lil more talent it would help give fans and venues a better impression of us. Which would lead us to being able to get more pro services in the future :)
 
What are your original tracks recorded with? If they are in .wav format I could definately give it a try. pm me if u have a mind to.
 
the original tracks are on logic so I could totally send you wav. files. The album is only half done though, and im not on the computer with the files. I could PM you tomorrow and if the masters sound and we use them I can give you credit in the CD.

send the wav files to shakehousecircus@gmail.com but send one tune at a time; this way ill work on one, send u the result, and if u r satisfied i will continue. another good idea is to send a live recording of the song in question so that i know exactly how it is structured if u guys did a lot of overdubs and such. more details u can give me the better.
 
The songs sound very similar live as in the recordings I will shoot you an email with the first song very soon. Do you want to mix the songs from scratch or just master them?

I thought the max attachment size in gmail was 20 megs ... my wavs are always way larger than that. I'm not sure how much FLAC compresses a wav, but you can try that if I'm correct.

Try dropbox or yousendit to help move large files around.
