raw acoustic and vox

Here's one I did last night.
I was learning the song, and just wanted to hear how it sounded.

It's not a production as such but I did eq and verb it a little.



Vocals are a little bit weaker than I would have liked, but still, lemme know what you think, please. :)

heard a little buzz at 1:11 sounded like it could have been a loose cable?

Sounds good though man - nice job.

Very nice sir. The C# and some B bass notes on the guitar are ringing a little bit. Maybe try finding those freq's with an eq with a tight Q and pull them down about 3 to 5 db. Or if u have a ton of time, take each one individually and burn the eq in the waveform with the audio suite.
 
Yeah that little buzz stands out a fair bit - can you clean it?
Nice playing & capture.
I quite like the ringing aspects of the guitar - some of the chords are pulled in such a way that it seems right.

With the guitar ringing, are you talking about the two open high strings? e+b?

I think rayc's talking about the chord root notes.

Balance is all wrong in fairness,lol.
 
In general i thought it was real good. I liked the singing and playing.

I would suggest compressing the guitar just a bit. Don't want to kill the vibe to the song, but some of those chords and swells jump out a bit much. To a lesser extent i'd say the same thing about the vocal.

Some pops here and there (e.g., :14-:15, :50, 1:37). Some crackling at :53. Something bad at 1:11 - like a loose wire being jiggled.

Personal taste thing, but I didn't care for the "big-ish" reverb on things. Especially on the vocal.

That's all I need trip. I literally just did a live take to see how it would sound, in terms of performance.

Yes, the bass notes.
 
besides some small gtr rhythm issues that mabey just "feeling" i really like the song!! the verb is kinda distracting, dial it back 20%, comp the gtr at a 3:1 with 6 db reduction, add 3 db to vox high end around 2 K, and we mean business! just my thoughts :)
 
Beautiful song. the guitar sings a bit much but great song.
 
I like it a lot. Love the vocals. I'm use to hearing the CCR version and this is way different and cool :D
