Hey - I'd love to see if anyone has any feedback on this one. It may not sound like it, but I did a lot of things differently this time around.
For one, there are two complete drum tracks (ala allman bros. or grateful dead - although the music isn't like them at all) panned somewhat to either side as if there were two drummers. The drums were also processed more heavily this time and I really like the difference myself.
Also, kind of embarassing, but I just figured out how to bounce tracks and route groups to FX on my Roland recorder, so I did a bunch of submixes here which I've never done before. Certainly makes final mixdown easier, but at the cost of some flexibility.
It's kind of an angry sounding song, which is a bit different for me. Seems like I couldn't get out of my own way on the soloing towards the end, but it was close to how I wanted it anyway:
