Is there a software what act like MIDI Keyboard ?

Hey,
I just wanted to ask one thing . Is there any software what act like MIDI keyboard ? I mean if there is something through witch I can record MIDI to Cubase or what ever .

Can i ask why not just use the piano roll view and mouse in the notes as per?
 
When I want to press multiple keys its kind of hard .. If I got it right .. You meant piano bar included in cubase... ? :)

heres a screen shot of what i mean in cubase midi key editor view.
just place the mouse over the chosen note and draw it in with the pencil tool

So I installed VMPK but I cant get it working with cubase ..
How should I setup it ? .) thanks
 
Ethan may be able to tell you or you could always read the manual. Sorry i dont use vmpk. your welcome by the way
 
So, After a few hours of trying I found out that I need wirtual Cables.. So Im using MIDI-OX .. But I dont know how to use it ... :D lol .. Im really lost case ! :D
 
By the way kip4... Where di you opened that editor in Cubase ? :) I cant find it :D
 
Yeah, it help a little .. But I cant enter to the edit mode . I dont know how to draw bass line .) heh Is there any shortcut or something how to enter to that mode ?

I got your PM, but I don't use Cubase so I can't help. You really should ask in this thread, where others can see your question and hopefully have an answer.

Aahhh, finally !! :D Its working :) hehe ! Thanks .) Its kind of hard to get used to it. I mean to make some meaningful sounds .
Still , I need keyboard :) hehe
