Helpless with the Reaper :-(

Hi. I live in a different country as my band (quite a lot of distance) and they are waiting for me to send them my drum tracks for them.
I have Medeli DD508 which is connected to my computer with USB cable, Reaper and as VST i use Ezdrummer.
I have the problem with recording because Reaper starts recording and records fine with very slow tempo (no one plays so slow actually) but when i increase the tempo to "normal" or fast then Reaper just stops recording. I am wondering if the problem could be the VST program or something with memory?
Would you have any other ideas?
I had problems also with the recording that when I recorded and after it played it back the drummer sounded like someone else (skipping hits, cymbals didn`t come out mostly and so on)...and before people start saying i should learn to play...well I have played for over ten years so it should be sufficient.
I am new with this kind of recording and I would very much appreciate help so i can start recording :-D
 
Giving full info on your hardware would help (we're not psychic...)

Are you using the built-in soundcard in the computer??
 
Set the tempo in Reaper (not EZ Drummer). Then it should record all your MIDI signals from your Medeli DD508 - if it doesn't then you may not have the MIDI channels set up correctly (which would explain the 'missed' pieces).
 
Yes ofcourse. How silly of me.
Here it is: Amd Athlon 64x2 dual core processor 5600+ (2.80Ghz)
Memory 2,5Gt Ram
32 bits.
and the soundcard what i use is built in: AMD high definion audio device/ RealTek high definition audio
Is there something else what I should write so it would help?

There is your problem.

Built-in soundcards have 40-cents worth of chips, horrible drivers and are made for cheap beeps and boops and light gaming, not music production.
Step #1 is to always replace the on-board.

Even a $40 asio soundcard/interface will be a huge upgrade.

He's recording MIDI via USB, so the soundcard is not the problem.
Again, ,I suspect he does not have the MIDI channels set up correctly from the input device

How can I set up the Midi channels correctly?
